Terms & Conditions of Hire

NI Inflatables reserve the right to refuse hire at any point we feel the following regulations have not been adhered to. It is the customer’s responsibility to follow these regulations accordingly. If the customer is in any doubt about the meaning of the following, a representative from NI Inflatables should immediately be consulted. The customer will, during the period of hire, be responsible for the supervision of the equipment, its care, safety from damage however slight of any sort, and the behaviour of any person at any age using the equipment.

Bookings.

  • Customers must be aged 18 years or over, identification will be required where the customers may not look the required age.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to check all required dimensions for space needed for our equipment. All our space requirements are clearly stated on The NI Inflatables website. Upon arrival where equipment will not fit within the desired area. NI Inflatables reserve the right to 100% of higher costs.
  • NI Inflatables only hire Indoors, Artificial Grass, Hard Surfaces but must be with the sheet provided, Undercover outdoors, and outdoors on grass and dirt.  unless previously arranged. (Please call for further details.)
  • Overnight hire is subject to a secure garden and refundable security deposit. Care and security information will be given upon delivery of the inflatable. NI Inflatables reserve the right to refuse hire if our equipment is at any security risk. Two forms of identification will be required for all overnight hires.
  • Public liability insurance is excluded in its entirety following any claim or injury to any third party or employee. Whether directly or indirectly related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol.
  • NI Inflatables excludes any liability for injury, loss, or damage caused to any person using the equipment contrary to our terms & conditions.
  • Whilst the equipment is in the customer’s possession and control. Liability for injuries or other losses caused rests solely with the hirer. It is strongly recommended that the hirer has appropriate public liability insurance, covering his/her liability arising from the use of our equipment.

Booking fees & charges.

  • Your deposit is a non — refundable booking fee, covering our administrative costs when reserving your equipment.
  • Booking fees are to be paid immediately when equipment and dates have been reserved. NI Inflatables will not hold any dates for equipment without a booking fee paid.
  • Bookings under £200 are subject to normal booking fee charges of 50% rounded up to the nearest £10 with a final balance due 14 days prior to the event date.
  • Bookings £200 and over are subject to a 50% booking fee of total hire costs with the final balance due 5 days prior to the event date.
  • NI Inflatables will require a call-out charge of £20 per hour or part of if needed to attend any event/premises where the fault is not regarded as our own.
  • Any damage to any equipment provided by NI Inflatables because of negligence on the hirer's part will be charged accordingly.
  • Please treat our equipment with respect, mistreated, overly dirty inflatables when being collected will incur a £20 cleaning charge.

Cancellations.

  • Cancellations for adverse weather situations will be refunded. NI Inflatables will cancel a booking due to adverse weather conditions. The decision rests totally with the customer unless severe winds above 24mph are forecast.
  • Cancellations to bookings for adverse weather conditions by yourself or NI Inflatables are given a least 1 week from the original booking date to re-book any assets, after such time booking fees can NOT be transferred. You can move the booking date ONCE within any four-week period, subject to assets being available.
  • Refunds will be paid back to the account/payment method you provided when booking your Inflatables.
  • NI Inflatables reserve the right to cancel any booking, where there is a potential health & safety risk to the hirer, their guests, or the public. We operate a common-sense approach regarding weather conditions.

COVID 19 Terms & Conditions.

  • During the coronavirus pandemic, we have been doing our utmost best to run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. We use specially formulated cleaning products to help protect our customers. We also follow all the government and environmental health guidelines when delivering our products to our customers.
  • We ask all bookings to be made online and any balances to be paid prior to delivery we do take cash but would prefer if you used card payments.
  • On arrival to your property, we ask all customers & guests to remain at the recommended safe distance whilst we set up your Inflatable. We ask you to do the same again for collection and this allows us to follow strict social distancing guidelines.
  • We can NOT enter your property for any reason, we will pass an extension cable in through the desired window and ask you to plug it into a power source. We are not able to take any units through your property, but we can access through a side building or a garage onto a back garden.
  • We can deliver our units following the above steps and precautions during a national lockdown or tier system. However, we do understand this may not be the best situation for our customers. Please contact us to discuss options if you have any concerns over your hire. We will NOT cancel your booking and our usual cancellation terms & conditions will apply.

Inflatable terms of use.

  • The supervisor of the inflatable must be a responsible adult over the age of 18 years and always be on the premises to observe the use of our Inflatables.
  • This person must ensure the correct age of the user is allowed on the inflatable.
  • No smoking on or within close vicinity of the inflatable and its accessories.
  • Do NOT attempt to move the inflatable once secured in position, only trained personnel may move the inflatable.
  • The supervisor must ensure no more than the recommended number of users are allowed on the inflatable at any one time.
  • Socks are to be always worn, but no shoes, spectacles, sharp objects, or food are allowed on the inflatable whatsoever.
  • Party poppers, streamers, or silly string is strictly forbidden on the inflatable. The dye from these objects can stain the equipment. The customer will be responsible for any damage caused using these objects on the inflatable.
  • The supervisor must be positioned at the appropriate viewing of the Inflatable, this is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the users.
  • The operator must ensure the unit remains intact and should regularly inspect the Inflatable and its anchorage for any signs of loosening. In the event of failure, all users are to be safely removed and the inflatable restored to safe operation.
  • Accidents must be reported in the relevant accident book, including dates and accounts of what occurred and signed by the injured third-party representative.
  • Weather conditions are to be monitored, taking the inflatable out of use when wind speeds exceed 24mph. Heavy rainfall should result in the inflatable being taken out of use and electrical equipment unplugged and stored in a dry location.
  • The blower is to be checked regularly to ensure it remains in place. In the event of loss of pressure, the supervisor must check no rubbish is restricting the fan from its operation.
  • Seams and zips must be monitored for any tears.
  • The Supervisor will be deemed to have inspected the equipment and any accessories and will have agreed that it is supplied in good condition unless brought to the attention of NI Inflatables when blowing up the inflatable.

COVID Notice

Please Note that ALL bookings are subject to change if the government change restrictions and it is unsafe to hire. We may have to cancel the booking immediately with a full refund. Bookings are only allowed on the basis you agree to the following conditions to help keep everyone safe:

  • Please note we will not be able to hire to you if anyone who will be using the bouncy castle is showing or developed symptoms in the 10 days before the party or has coronavirus.
  • We must have clear access to your back garden if taking through a building.
  • Our equipment will be cleaned and sanitised before it is delivered to you so that you and whoever is using our products can be reassured that everything is safe to use.
  • We cannot take any responsibility if your neighbours inform local authorities of misuse of any of our Bouncy Castles.
  • We can refuse set up if we feel the location is against government guidelines.

 

We want to reassure that we are taking every precaution to maintain a hygienic and safe environment and we ask you to stick to the government’s guidelines. This will help to ensure everyone can have a fun time while being safe by following the above rules!
